This week we saw a rise in illness in the District. I encourage families to keep students home if they are experiencing symptoms of illness. Students should remain out until they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This will help prevent the spread of illness to others. Additionally, please talk with your student and remind them to wash their hands regularly and cover their mouth and nose with a tissue or their elbow when coughing or sneezing. By following these steps, we can all do our part to keep our community healthy and safe.
