Greeting Bronco nation! The Jr/ Sr high school will begin NWEA testing Monday 4/24/2023 to 4/28/2023. This test is very important because it is used to show that our students are learning and growing. It is equally important that students are present, rested and prepared to allow the best opportunity for them to be successful. We have developed a reward system for all students. A flyer that shows the system has been sent to your email. We are excited for the opportunity to show our Bronco Pride!! Go Broncos!!

Between April and May, students in school take three big tests: the MSTEP, SAT, and NWEA. The State of Michigan says we have to take the first two, and the last one is a test that helps us know how much students are learning. These tests help teachers and schools understand how well we’re helping students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Tests can be challenging, but there are things parents can do to help your child prepare. Make sure they attend school regularly, get enough sleep, and eat a healthy breakfast on test days. We know our students work hard every day in school. Please help students take these tests seriously. I am excited to celebrate our students successes! Go Broncos! On Friday, February 24th, our 6th grade students made the journey over to the JR/SR high school for their first introduction to what the world of junior high will look like next year.  The students spent the afternoon learning about the many differences they will encounter in the 2023/2024 school year. Students were greeted by principal Mr. Mitchell and learned of our fundamental expectations.  Students then had an opportunity to talk with Ms. Redmer and ask questions about classes, schedules and extracurricular activities.  They also took time to chat with our athletic director about the many sports options that are available.  At the end of the afternoon we enjoyed a few debriefing activities and the students found out what it is like to be dismissed from the JR/SR high school at the end of the day. Their behavior was wonderful and our JR/SR high staff is looking forward to having them in the building more often later this spring.  Keep an eye out for an upcoming 6th grade/8th grade switch day!
