(Bellevue, MI) The Bellevue Community Schools Board of Education has decided to enter into contract negotiations with Mark McGarry, Ed.D., to be the next Bellevue Community Schools Superintendent. The motion to enter negotiations was passed on a 6-0 vote. The next step in the hiring process will involve members of the board working with Mr. McGarry on an employment agreement. The expectation is that Mr. McGarry will start as the new superintendent sometime in August.
Mr. McGarry is currently the Principal at Charlotte Upper Elementary in Charlotte, MI and was previously a teacher in the Holt Public Schools. Mark’s 17 years of K-12 education experience includes time spent as a high school and junior high teacher, interim junior high vice-principal, summer-school high school principal, and elementary school principal. Mark is looking forward to sharing with the Bronco community his enthusiasm, passion and energy.
